Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yorito Nayama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Clarke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yorito Nayama!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andrew Clarke!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yuuki Gou and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nayama tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Clarke swivels and escapes.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Nayama gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Clarke to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Clarke must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Clarke connects with a couple of short punches.
Nayama is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Clarke really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nayama. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Nayama bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Clarke's guard.
Clarke wants to stand up but Nayama is controlling him.

That was a close round but I would say that Yorito Nayama will probably get the nod.

Clarke throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Nayama was covering up waiting for the punch and Clarke finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Nayama has his foot on Clarke's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Clarke works his way back into a safe position though.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Nayama is on top in guard.
