Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kolohe Hakoa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gawel Srak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hakoa kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Ol Dirty Bastard - Snakes. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick lands from Srak.
Srak scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Srak darts in and clinches Hakoa up against the ropes.
Srak creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Srak's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hakoa moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Srak throws the kick towards the body but Hakoa avoids it.
Srak moves out of range of the body kick.
Srak connects with a solid leg kick.
Hakoa moves out of range of the body kick.
Srak fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Hakoa checks it well.
Srak tries to clinch up.
Hakoa lands a nice shot that snaps Srak's head back.
Srak throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Hakoa could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Hakoa slips a jab and a cross from Srak.
Srak misses with a body shot.
Srak doesn't manage to clinch there - Hakoa circles away.
Srak lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Srak pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Hakoa dips to his left and cracks Srak with an uppercut!
Hakoa throws a sloppy head kick
and Srak counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Hakoa swats away the attempt to clinch by Srak.
Hakoa looks to land a combination but Srak avoids it well.

Hakoa rushes Srak and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Srak tries to break free but Hakoa pushes him back against the ropes.

Hakoa breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hakoa throws a right hand that Srak ducks under and follows up with a left that Srak also avoids with ease.
Srak bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Srak throws a head kick that misses.
Srak tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hakoa looks to score with a jab to the body but Srak is just out of range.
Srak throws a hook to the side of Hakoa's head but Hakoa sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Srak fakes the leg kick and cracks Hakoa in the body.
Hakoa lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Hakoa clinches but Srak breaks the clinch
and Srak counters with a slapping leg kick.

Hakoa takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Srak tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Srak throws a combination that misses
and Hakoa counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Srak throws an overhand right that lands on Hakoa's shoulder, as Hakoa tries to avoid the shot.
Srak throws a quick inside leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Hakoa moves into the clinch successfully.
Srak unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Srak has had enough of the clinch but Hakoa keeps him there for the moment.
Srak is trying to break the clinch but Hakoa is controlling him.

Srak breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hakoa avoids the head kick by Srak.
Hakoa throws a sloppy head kick
and Srak counters with an outside leg kick.
Srak tries to clinch there but Hakoa circles away.
Gawel Srak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hakoa scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Srak feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Hakoa's calf.
A swing and a miss from Srak.

Srak throws a leg kick that is checked
and Hakoa connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Srak throws a series of punches but Hakoa moves out of range.
Hakoa thows a body shot but no joy.

Srak rushes Hakoa and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.

Srak breaks the clinch.
A shot to de liver by Hakoa. Beautiful body shot.
Hakoa throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

It looks like Gawel Srak has been cut.
Horrible takedown by Hakoa or perhaps it was just good defense by Srak which made him look bad.

Hakoa shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Hakoa wants to control the pace but Srak is squirming around nicely.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Srak can do anything to dispel that myth.
Srak wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Hakoa.

Hakoa has control of Srak's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Srak regains control of the situation pretty easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hakoa with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Hakoa is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Srak is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Srak flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Hakoa anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Srak and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Hakoa slips an arm under Srak chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Hakoa has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Hakoa is squeezing on Srak like an anaconda would it's prey. Srak fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
