And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crowe needs to keep his hands up - Rae had a free shot at his head there.
Rae works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Rae moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Crowe throws a series of punches but Rae moves out of range.
Rae looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Rae throws a series of strikes that have Crowe backpedaling.
Rae scores with a push kick.
Crowe misses with a hook. Rae ducked under it nicely.

and Rae holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Rae moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Rae ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Crowe closes the distance and lands a one-two.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Rae clinches up with Crowe and pushes him back against the cage.

Rae scores with a jab. Crowe acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

and Rae makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Crowe ducks right into an uppercut from Rae.
Rae throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Crowe on the side of the head.

Rae is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Crowe had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
