Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ken Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taka Yoshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly misses with a two punch combination.
Kelly throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Yoshi buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Yoshi swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Kelly blocks a low kick nicely.
A leg kick checked by Kelly.
Kelly throws a right and a left that Yoshi avoids nicely.
Yoshi throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kelly was covering up waiting for the punch and Yoshi finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kelly wants to sweep here but Yoshi controlling him for the moment.
Yoshi must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Kelly is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Yoshi is controlling him.

Yoshi content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Kelly has locked up a guillotine! Kelly's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Yoshi is holding on here and Kelly must be using up a lot of energy. Yoshi has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Kelly gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
