Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bat throws a big shot that misses.

Silva scores a takedown into full mount!
Silva tries to push Bat's head away but Bat is holding on tight.
Bat is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Bat holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Silva tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Silva throws some wild stikes that Bat manages to avoid easily.

Silva goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Bat is on top in guard.

Bat drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Silva manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bat has Silva in his guard.

Bat avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Bat tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Bat controls Silva momentarily but Silva frees himself.
Silva loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Silva throws and elbow that misses. Bat uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Silva's guard. Nice move by Bat!
Bat works a leg free and moves into half guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Silva on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Bat wants to free his trapped foot but Silva is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Silva tries to buck Bat off but Bat is having none of it.

Bat creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bat decides to stand back up.
Bat throws a shot from downtown. Silva moves away and avoids it.

Bat drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Bat stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Bat shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Silva napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Bat works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Silva wants to get back to his feet but Bat is dominant here and he's now got Silva's back!
Silva is trying to get back to his feet but Bat has full control of the position and if anything, Silva has just worked his way into a worse spot.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.

Bat throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Silva!

Silva tries to get to his feet, scrambling wildly. Bat sees the opportunity and transitions to an armbar that forces Silva to tap. Impressive finish!
