The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pete slaps away a takedown attempt from Aureliohares, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Aureliohares has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Pete is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Aureliohares.

Aureliohares anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Pete and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Aureliohares slips an arm under Pete chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Aureliohares has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Aureliohares is squeezing on Pete like an anaconda would it's prey. Pete fails to tap and has fallen unconscious!
