Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Roby Weeks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yohihiro Mishima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mishima has chosen Olympic Flame as his entrance music. Weeks has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weeks shoots in looking for a takedown. Mishima tries to sprawl out of it but Weeks keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mishima manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Weeks looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Mishima decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Mishima is working for a kimura but Weeks is defending it quite comfortably.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Mishima wants to pass to mount but Weeks is defending the position.

Mishima is looking for a kimura but Weeks is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Mishima to get the leverage.
Mishima is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Weeks!

Mishima jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Weeks manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Mishima is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Weeks knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Weeks is looking to reverse the position.
Mishima slows the pace down.

Mishima is working to tighten is grip on Weeks's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Weeks has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Mishima is really squeezing tight and eventually Weeks passes out! Mishima breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
