Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Razual Pentello (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack shepard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pentello lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Pentello.
shepard takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Pentello darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
shepard takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

shepard closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Pentello parries the strikes from shepard easily there. shepard is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Pentello to escape.
Pentello tries to get back to half guard but can't.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pentello wants to pass to mount but shepard is defending the position.
Pentello is looking to take a break and control but shepard is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Pentello cracks a nice hook into shepard's ribs.
Pentello scores with a crisp jab that stopped shepard in his tracks.

Pentello lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends shepard sprawling to the canvas. Pentello follows him down, looking for the kill. Can shepard hang on?

shepard seems to have recovered his senses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pentello has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pentello bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
shepard takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Pentello lands with a big left! shepard is wobbled badly! Pentello comes in with a flurry of punches and drops shepard to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
