The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Anderson throws an overhand right that lands on Castro's shoulder, as Castro tries to avoid the shot.

Castro closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Castro is thwarting Anderson's attempts to control the position.
Anderson is looking for a sweep. Castro is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Anderson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Castro pulls his head out easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Castro wants to control but Anderson is keeping him busy.
Castro knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Anderson on the ground.

Castro tries to stand and escape but Anderson is controlling the position.
Anderson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Castro is working away from the top position though.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Anderson lands with an uppercut that bounces Castro off the cage and back into rage.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Castro feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
