Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Harry HooHar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Golkar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Harry HooHar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vincent Golkar!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Golkar shoots for a takedown but HooHar saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Golkar scores a takedown into full mount!
HooHar tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Golkar thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Golkar with the ground and pound from mount.
HooHar tries to hold on but Golkar postures up.

Golkar goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now HooHar is on top in guard.
HooHar missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
HooHar preventing the sweep.
HooHar throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
HooHar wants to control from the top but Golkar keeps moving.

Golkar is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. HooHar is aware though and is defending well.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

HooHar throwing strikes but missing.
Golkar wants to sweep but no luck.
Golkar throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
HooHar postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

HooHar working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
HooHar misses with a takedown

and Golkar counters with a shoot takedown. HooHar fights it but they end up in guard.

Golkar thows a big elbow that misses.
Golkar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. HooHar swivels though and keeps the full guard.
HooHar working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Golkar.
Golkar trying to control the position from guard on top but HooHar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Golkar thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Golkar tries to free his leg and advance position but HooHar is retaining full guard.
Golkar has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
HooHar wants to sweep but no luck.

HooHar controls Golkar momentarily but Golkar frees himself.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
HooHar misses with a wild body shot.
HooHar steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Golkar.
Harry HooHar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
HooHar tries to clinch but Golkar moves away

and Golkar counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Golkar trying to control but HooHar is working from the bottom.
Golkar throws a strike but HooHar rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
HooHar is fighting to break Golkar's control of his arms but Golkar is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
HooHar in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

HooHar trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Golkar manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
HooHar avoids a series of strikes thrown by Golkar.
HooHar is trying to escape the mount.
Golkar controlling the position easily from mount.
Golkar with the ground and pound from mount.

Golkar goes for an armbar but HooHar turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from HooHar.

Golkar bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in HooHar's guard.
Golkar is looking to work some ground and pound but HooHar has wrist control.

Golkar trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Golkar postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Golkar forces his way into half guard.
Golkar tries to pass to full mount but HooHar defends it.

Golkar throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as HooHar works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Golkar works a leg free and moves into half guard.
HooHar is refusing to be controlled, as Golkar sits in half guard.
Golkar landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Golkar is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

HooHar is wriggling around trying to escape.
Golkar is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Golkar prevents HooHar from getting the reversal.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Golkar throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Golkar wants to control the pace but HooHar is squirming around nicely.

Vincent Golkar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Golkar won't allow HooHar to sweep him here.
HooHar has his hands on Golkar's head, controlling the position.
HooHar manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Golkar manages to get himself to full guard.

HooHar is in close to Golkar's body, working some short punches and elbows.
HooHar missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Golkar working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. HooHar doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Golkar is tightening it up a little... HooHar has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! HooHar reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! HooHar taps out! nice BJJ there by Golkar!
