The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Paketti does no damage.
Minota takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Paketti lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Minota circles away quickly and effectively.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Minota shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Minota showed some decent athleticism there.

Minota is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Paketti sees it coming and defends easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Paketti is trying to stand back up but Minota is controlling him
Minota uses his free foot to push down on Paketti 's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Paketti .

Minota is working for a guillotine from mount but Paketti frees his head quite easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Paketti is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Minota is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Minota extends the arm and Paketti is forced to tap!
