Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jonny Bush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Corky McGraw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGraw has chosen Freebird - Lynard Skynard as his entrance music. Corky McGraw has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jonny Bush!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 1, fighting out of New York, Corky McGraw!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Bruno Lombardi and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bush takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Bush moves out of range of the strikes.
Bush takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Bush shoots in looking for a takedown. McGraw tries to sprawl out of it but Bush keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McGraw manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
McGraw catches Bush with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
McGraw throws a hook but Bush blocks it.
Bush tries for a takedown but McGraw sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Bush looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
McGraw trying to control here.
McGraw is looking to improve his position.
Bush is pressing down on McGraw's thigh, looking to free his foot. McGraw is holding on for now.

McGraw is not content to let Bush control the position.
Bush throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
McGraw is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bush's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bush's back!
Bush tries to break free.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Will McGraw go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

McGraw has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Bush's body.
Bush rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

McGraw winds up and cracks Bush with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
McGraw wants to take a breather but Bush is having none of it.

Bush is staying active underneath McGraw, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
McGraw might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Bush kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Despite being in the dominant position, Corky McGraw just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Corky McGraw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bush fails with the takedown.

McGraw turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
McGraw throws a nice looking combination but Bush bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Bush looks for a takedown but McGraw sprawls well.
McGraw paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
McGraw stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Bush walks into a stiff left hand from McGraw.
McGraw throws a shot from downtown. Bush moves away and avoids it.
McGraw throws a series of punches but Bush moves out of range.
McGraw misses with a looping left.

McGraw thuds a left hand into Bush's body.
McGraw misses with a wild combination.
Bush staying out of range there.
Bush moves forwards but McGraw connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Bush closes this distance looking for a takedown but McGraw circles away.
McGraw stuffs the takedown attempt from Bush. Bush gets slowly back to his feet.
Bush fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

McGraw takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
McGraw cracks Bush with a good jab.
McGraw looks to land a left hand but Bush moved out of range nicely.

McGraw throws a nice inside leg kick.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!


McGraw explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
McGraw jabbing away but nothing is landing.
McGraw misses with a looping left.
McGraw throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bush.
Bush defending well as McGraw loads up on a big left hand.
McGraw lunges at Bush with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Bush's hand.
McGraw scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
McGraw connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bush momentarily.
Bush keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
McGraw stuffs the takedown attempt from Bush. Bush gets slowly back to his feet.
Nice takedown defense from McGraw. No joy for Bush on that attempt.
Corky McGraw seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Bush tries to score a power double leg takedown but McGraw sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bush somewhat.

McGraw throws a looping overhand right but Bush ducks down to avoid it.
McGraw has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
McGraw feints and then cracks Bush's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bush down.

Bush drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Bush is rocked!
McGraw swings for the body but Bush moves out of range.
Bush closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Oh Bush is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McGraw misses with a looping left.
McGraw loads up on a big right hand but Bush slips the punch.
Bush seems to have got his legs back now.
Bush takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Bush looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
McGraw connects with a nice looking jab.
McGraw scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
McGraw dips to his left and cracks Bush with an uppercut!
Horrible takedown by Bush or perhaps it was just good defense by McGraw which made him look bad.

McGraw throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bush dives in and grabs McGraw's left leg, looking for a takedown. McGraw pushes down on Bush's head and hops out.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Bush.
Bush in side control, throwing shots but McGraw defends.
McGraw can't do much from the bottom here.

McGraw is looking for a sweep.

Bush working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
McGraw is looking to regain half guard here but Bush keeps moving and retains side control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
McGraw throws a hook but Bush avoids it easily.

I've got McGraw winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
