Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Fightmaster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Starship (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Starship has chosen i made it as his entrance music. Patrick Starship is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fightmaster is looking to clinch but Starship is avoiding it.

Fightmaster throws a lazy right hand but Starship sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Starship gets control of Fightmaster's arms and successfully pulls guard. Starship will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Starship tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Fightmaster smiles and moves away.

Starship has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Fightmaster uses from the top position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Starship decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Fightmaster's guard.

Fightmaster has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Starship can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

It looks like Patrick Starship has been cut.
Starship shoots in looking for a takedown. Fightmaster tries to sprawl out of it but Starship keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fightmaster manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
