Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Josh Feer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dutch Rudderme!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Russell Pearce and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Rudderme misses.
Feer looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Rudderme tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Rudderme closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Rudderme lands in his opponent's guard.
Rudderme wanted to stand there but Feer had control of the position.

Rudderme gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
No joy there for Rudderme, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rudderme throws a right hand that Feer ducks under and follows up with a left that Feer also avoids with ease.

Rudderme moves into the clinch.
Rudderme lands a left hand that snaps the head of Feer backwards.

Rudderme breaks the clinch.
Left hook, right uppercut from Rudderme.

Rudderme gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Feer keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Rudderme's efforts to push away.
Rudderme is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Rudderme's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Rudderme misses with a two punch combination.
Rudderme misses with a series of wild punches.
Rudderme scores with a jab. Feer acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Rudderme bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Feer's head.
Rudderme looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Rudderme throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Feer avoids the head kick by Rudderme.

Feer looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Rudderme is trying to get back to full guard.

The fighters are battling for position here. Rudderme manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rudderme pulls Feer in close to his closed guard and prevents Feer from doing any damage or advancing position.

Rudderme got a little sloppy there for a moment and Feer has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rudderme has managed to get both his arms back between Feer's legs - danger averted.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Rudderme shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Feer makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Feer shoots in but no luck this time.
Dutch Rudderme seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Feer is staying active underneath Rudderme, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Josh Feer.
