The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haven of Mist bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Assis's head backwards.
Assis looks for a takedown but Haven of Mist sprawls well.
Haven of Mist slaps away a takedown attempt from Assis, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Haven of Mist lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Haven of Mist rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Assis moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
