The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chong tries to clinch but Hernandez moves out of range.
Hernandez slips under a jab from Chong.
Chong stuffs the takedown.
Hernandez dodges the punch combination from Chong.
Chong connects with a solid leg kick.
Hernandez shoots in looking for a takedown. Chong tries to sprawl out of it but Hernandez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chong manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Jamal Hernandez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chong throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hernandez is defended easily by Chong.

Chong lands a big right hand that sends Hernandez crashing to the mat! Chong stays standing though and waves Hernandez back to his feet!

Chong fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hernandez manages to avoid it.
Chong misses with an uppercut.
Hernandez dives in and grabs Chong's left leg, looking for a takedown. Chong pushes down on Hernandez's head and hops out.
Chong grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Hernandez takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Chong cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
