Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Persson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ghazala Hussein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ghazala Hussein!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Viktor Lagutenko and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab by Persson.
Hussein getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Persson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hussein.
Persson moves into range and clinches up with Hussein.
Hussein drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hussein tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Hussein fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Jack Persson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ghazala Hussein.
Persson gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Hussein.
Hussein jumps guard but Persson stands there with Hussein around his waist. Hussein gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Persson gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Persson wants to pass the guard but Hussein is defending well.

Hussein is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Persson pulls his head out easily.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Persson keeps the fight on the outside.
No joy there for Hussein, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hussein fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Persson manages to avoid it.
Persson misses with a hook
and Hussein counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Persson shoots in looking for a takedown. Hussein tries to sprawl out of it but Persson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hussein manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hussein cracks Persson with an open hand slap.
Persson throws a right and a left that Hussein avoids nicely.
Persson is breathing heavily.
Hussein throws out a powerful jab.
Hussein misses with a right hand
and Persson counters with a single leg into guard. Hussein didn't expect that.

Persson is really struggling to control Hussein but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Hussein is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Hussein manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Hussein jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Persson manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Persson controls Hussein momentarily but Hussein frees himself.

Persson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hussein doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hussein manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Persson pulls Hussein in close to prevent any damage.
Persson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Hussein thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Persson is looking to sinch up a triangle. Hussein throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Persson's body to avoid the submission. Persson has instead reached around Hussein's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Persson arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
