The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mihic drives through with a takedown into guard.

Mihic stands and steps away. Wayne gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Mihic closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mihic lands in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Mihic got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wayne has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mihic has managed to get both his arms back between Wayne's legs - danger averted.

Mihic is standing up over Wayne. Wayne looks to escape but Mihic dives into side control.
Wayne pushes Mihic away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Mihic gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
