Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Paavo Smith!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith misses with a wild body shot.
Paavo Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Smith checks it well.
Gracie scores with a jab to the body.
Gracie throws a looping overhand right but Smith ducks down to avoid it.
Smith misses with a straight right.
Smith ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gracie moves away.
Gracie takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Smith misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Gracie.
Gracie misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Smith misses the jab.

and Gracie counters with a three punch combo that has Smith backing up. Smith nods at Gracie to acknowledge the strikes.
Gracie looks to throw the jab but Smith is out of range.
Gracie looks to score with a jab to the body but Smith is just out of range.

Gracie swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Smith missing with a left hand there. Gracie was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Smith shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Gracie counters with a shoot takedown. Smith fights it but they end up in guard.

Gracie decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Smith, up you get!
Gracie throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

so Gracie counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gracie is looking to work some ground and pound but Smith has wrist control.
Gracie thows a big elbow that misses.
Gracie looking to sit in guard and control but Smith gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Gracie is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Smith is aware though and is defending well.

Gracie looking for a triangle here. Smith is fighting it but it looks tight! Gracie pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Smith is tapping out - this one is all over!
