The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from Stalin.
Pain misses with a takedown attempt - Stalin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Stalin tries to close the distance and clinch but Pain swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Stalin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Stalin throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Stalin misses with a few strikes there.
Stalin throws a leg kick which misses Pain's front leg but catches the back leg as Pain tries to avoid it.
Stalin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pain moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Stalin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pain.
Stalin cracks Pain with a good jab.
Stalin misses the jab.
Brosif Stalin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stalin lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

It looks like Tix Pain has been cut.
Stalin is looking to slow Pain down with leg kicks.
Stalin scores with a punch to the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stalin tries to bum rush Pain with a series of wild strikes but Pain uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Stalin throws a right and a left that both miss.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Stalin.

Stalin decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Stalin.
The fight stays on the outside here - Stalin looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Pain circles away from the clinch attempt.

Pain is breathing heavily.

Stalin tries to clinch but Pain moves out of range.
Stalin fails to land with a series of punches.
Pain with a lazy takedown attempt
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Pain looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Stalin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pain swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Stalin throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Pain.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Stalin.
Stalin lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Stalin tries to clinch but Pain is having none of it.
Pain shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Pain. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Stalin lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Stalin lands a left and a right that send Pain crashing to the mat, dazed. Stalin thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Pain is rocked!
Stalin lands with a big left! Pain is wobbled badly! Stalin comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Pain to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
