Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Diego Sanavio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Apolskis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Apolskis has chosen Like a G6 as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Sanavio. Apolskis does a little dance to reset his feet.
Apolskis looks for a takedown but Sanavio sprawls well.
Sanavio keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Apolskis has Sanavio pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Sanavio manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Sanavio works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Sanavio smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sanavio fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Apolskis looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Sanavio scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Sanavio closes the distance and pushes Apolskis back into the cage.
Sanavio lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Apolskis backwards.

Sanavio digs a right hand underneath Apolskis's ribcage. Apolskis let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Sanavio is pressed up against the cage. Apolskis has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Sanavio down to the mat. Sanavio avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Sanavio stuns Apolskis with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Sanavio, as that shot connected.
Apolskis is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Sanavio.
Sanavio lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Sanavio catches Apolskis napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Apolskis to the canvas!

Apolskis is rocked!

Sanavio stands and steps away. Apolskis gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Apolskis is still on wobbly legs! Can Sanavio finish him?
Apolskis drops his hands momentarily. Sanavio doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Apolskis staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Apolskis doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
