Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between tristan duran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JAMES ROCK (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

duran takes a body punch but keeps moving.

ROCK has closed the distance and engaged duran in a clinch.

ROCK has dropped down and is working for a takedown. duran is trying to keep an underhook but ROCK manages to get the takedown into half guard.

ROCK goes for a takedown attempt but duran pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

ROCK is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and duran defends it well.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

ROCK is going oldschool here, as he tries to force duran to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so duran shrugs it off.
ROCK lands a big shot there that rocks duran but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

ROCK is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. duran is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. duran flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. ROCK anticipates the leg and manages to get behind duran and secures both hooks! This could be bad! ROCK slips an arm under duran chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. ROCK has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. ROCK is squeezing on duran like an anaconda would it's prey. duran fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
