Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Juan Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Misuto Hans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Misuto Hans has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzalez misses with a head kick.

It looks like Juan Gonzalez has been cut.
Gonzalez wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
Oh Gonzalez is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hans lands an elbow.
Gonzalez wants to get back to his feet but Hans is dominant here and he's now got Gonzalez's back!

Hans goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Gonzalez turns into him and now he's in Hans's guard.
Hans bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gonzalez's guard.
Hans passes Gonzalez's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Hans lands strikes from half guard.

Gonzalez misses with some strikes from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gonzalez seems to have got his legs back now.

Hans wants to control but Gonzalez has made it back to half guard. Nice work.

Gonzalez pushes Hans off looking to stand but Hans dives back in and keeps control.

Gonzalez has one foot on Hans's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Hans looks to land a combination but Gonzalez avoids it well.

and Gonzalez counters with a big head kick but Hans shrugs it off.
Gonzalez misses with the combination.
Hans fails with the takedown
and Gonzalez counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Gonzalez throws a head kick that misses

and Hans counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Hans wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gonzalez keeps working.
Hans passes to side control.

Hans tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hans prevents Gonzalez from escaping the position.

Hans is looking to take a break and control but Gonzalez is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Hans passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Gonzalez!
Hans postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Gonzalez looks a forlorn figure.

Hans is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Hans misses with a takedown attempt
and Gonzalez counters with a nice body shot.

Gonzalez gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Gonzalez looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hans is one step ahead there.
Hans works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Gonzalez manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Gonzalez moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hans moves in looking to clinch but Gonzalez pushes him off.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hans shoots in for a double leg but Gonzalez sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

and Hans counters with a big head kick but Gonzalez shrugs it off.
Hans misses with an uppercut.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Juan Gonzalez's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Gonzalez throws a head kick that misses
and Hans connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A combination from Gonzalez does no damage.

Gonzalez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hans fails in his attempt to clinch.
Hans slips a jab and a cross from Gonzalez.
Hans circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Gonzalez drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Hans follows Gonzalez to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
