Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Irv Goldman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sheldon Teste (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Teste has chosen I Wanna Rock as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Irv Goldman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sheldon Teste!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Teste misses.
Teste misses with a head kick.

Goldman avoids the head kick by Teste.
Teste connects with a high kick.
Teste misses with a head kick.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
A head kick misses from Teste.
Goldman shoots in and drives through. Teste sprawls well.
Teste defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Goldman.

Goldman misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Teste throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Goldman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Teste tries to avoid it but Goldman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Teste to the ground. Teste escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Teste tries a head kick but it misses.
Teste tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Goldman has Teste up against the cage in a clinch.

Teste breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Sheldon Teste is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Goldman tries for a takedown but Teste sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Goldman.
Teste tries a head kick but it misses.

Goldman decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Goldman is working for a kimura but Teste is defending it quite comfortably.

Goldman is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Goldman stops Teste from getting back to his feet.

Goldman stalling away here and it's allowed Teste to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Goldman thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Teste is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Teste can do anything to dispel that myth.
Teste throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
A head kick misses from Teste.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Teste bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Goldman's head.

Teste leaves Goldman with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Teste lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Goldman circles away quickly and effectively.
Teste throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Goldman.

Teste circles away from the clinch attempt.
Teste stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Teste wants it to stay on the feet.
Teste looks for the body kick but Goldman saw that one coming.
Teste throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Teste lets loose with a powerful body kick. Goldman will feel that in the morning.
Goldman is trying hard to land a takedown here. Teste sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Teste explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Goldman fails with the takedown.

Sheldon Teste showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Goldman closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Goldman is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Teste pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Teste is looking to break free of the clinch but Goldman has double underhooks.

Horrible takedown by Goldman or perhaps it was just good defense by Teste which made him look bad.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Goldman avoids the head kick by Teste.

Goldman throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Teste was covering up waiting for the punch and Goldman finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Irv Goldman has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Goldman postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Teste is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Goldman, into his guard.
Sheldon Teste is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Goldman is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Irv Goldman.
I think Teste has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
