The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor lands a nice leg kick that just misses Bernardo's sensitive parts.
Taylor closes the distance and clinches up with Bernardo, looking for a takedown. Taylor pushes Bernardo against the cage but Bernardo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Taylor has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bernardo is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bernardo lands a nice short elbow.
