The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for wescott with that takedown attempt.
Boucher looks to land a left hand but wescott moved out of range nicely.
Boucher pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Boucher lands with a nice body punch.
wescott takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
wescott checks the leg kick.
wescott displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Boucher throws out the jab.
wescott shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Boucher as he avoids it easily.
wescott closes this distance looking for a takedown but Boucher circles away.

Boucher's corner calls for a 1-2. Boucher obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
