The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Alexandre Firmino and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cunhha scores a takedown into full mount!

d wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
d trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Cunhha controlling well, preventing d from escaping the position.
Cunhha is trying to stick to d's back but d is turning into Cunhha. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Cunhha's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by d.
d slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Cunhha is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and d defends well.

d tries to free his leg and advance position but Cunhha is retaining full guard.
d really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
d is looking to work some ground and pound but Cunhha has wrist control.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Cunhha decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

d shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cunhha's guard.

Cunhha misses with a takedown
and d counters with a single leg into guard. Cunhha didn't expect that.
Cunhha keeping moving, preventing d from controlling successfully.
Cunhha has his foot on d's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. d works his way back into a safe position though.
d wants to control from the top but Cunhha keeps moving.
d drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and d jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

d is pushing down on Cunhha's leg trying to pass to half guard. Cunhha is fighting to maintain full guard but d has managed to sneak the leg through.
d slips a nice elbow through Cunhha's hands, connecting with Cunhha's forehead.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Cunhha tries to regain full guard. Instead though, d has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

d lands with some strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
d unloads with some shots from mount but Cunhha bucks and avoids them well.

d slows the pace down in half guard.
d is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
