Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brett Eibner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, John Bob!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brett Eibner!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Matheus Silva and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Eibner drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Eibner controlling from side mount.
Eibner creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Bob is trying to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bob is trying to control Eibner's posture but Eibner avoids it.
The strikes coming from Eibner are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Eibner has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Eibner postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Bob tries to buck Eibner off but Eibner is having none of it.
Eibner wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bob keeps working.

Eibner is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bob knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Bob tries to bench press Eibner off him but Eibner keeps the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Bob ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Eibner moves away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Eibner looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Bob fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bob misses with a kick to the body.
Bob tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Eibner tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A head kick from Bob lands but Eibner takes it in his stride.
Eibner misses with a combination
and Bob finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Bob throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Bob lands a high kick!
Bob throws a head kick but Eibner moves out of range.
Bob throws a head kick that misses.
Bob tries a head kick but it misses.
Eibner takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Eibner throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bob.
Eibner avoids a punch combination nicely.
Eibner on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Eibner takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Bob throws a head kick that misses.
Eibner moves in looking to clinch but Bob pushes him off.
Eibner tries to close the distance and clinch but Bob swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Bob counters with a body kick that stops Eibner in his tracks momentarily.
A low kick from Eibner is predictable there
and Bob counters with a stiff right hand.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Eibner.
Eibner fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bob fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Eibner manages to avoid it.
Bob misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bob tests Eibner's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Eibner blocks a head kick by Bob.
A combination from Bob does no damage.
Bob is breathing heavily.
Bob connects with a high kick.
Bob throws a head kick that Eibner semi-blocks.
Eibner keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Eibner connects with a solid leg kick.
Bob tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Eibner shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bob but Bob pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Bob ducks under a wild hook from Eibner.
Eibner misses with a double jab
and Bob counters with a nice body kick.
Bob tries a head kick but it misses.
Some wild striking there from Eibner.
Bob fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Eibner manages to avoid it.
Bob misses with a wild combination.
Eibner tries to land a leg kick but Bob saw it coming and moves away.
Bob avoids the head kick by Eibner.
Eibner tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Bob throws a combination that misses
and Eibner counters with a thumping low kick.
Bob throws a sloppy head kick and Eibner moves out of range easily.
Eibner tries to clinch up.
Bob throws a body kick that misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

John Bob dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Eibner throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Bob's head.
Bob throws a head kick that misses.
Bob tries a head kick but it misses.
Eibner finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Bob throws a head kick but Eibner moves out of range.
Bob throws a jab when Eibner was well out of range.
Bob throws the kick towards the body but Eibner avoids it.
Eibner misses with a few strikes there.
Bob lands with a kick to the temple. Eibner shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Bob throws a sloppy head kick
and Eibner counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Bob thinking.
John Bob is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Eibner swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Bob counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
A combination from Bob does no damage.

Eibner shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Eibner was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Eibner has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Bob is forced to tap!
