Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Mangum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Rawse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mangum might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Neutral Milk Hotel. Rawse has chosen Hustlin' as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jeff Mangum!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rick Rawse!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mangum looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
A swing and a miss from Rawse.
Mangum lands with a kick to the temple. Rawse shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Rawse swings for the body but Mangum moves out of range.
Rawse tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mangum was well out of range. Poor timing from Rawse.
Mangum misses the shot to the body.
Rawse ducks under a wild hook from Mangum.
Rawse looks for a takedown but Mangum sprawls well.
Mangum slips a jab from Rawse.
Rawse misses with the combination.
Rawse misses with a straight right.
Mangum lands a nice shot to the body.
Mangum explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Rawse looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mangum buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Mangum lands a head kick that stumbles Rawse and the fighters go to the mat.
Rawse is rocked!
It looks like Rick Rawse has been cut.
Mangum slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Rawse is still in real trouble! Can Mangum finish him?
Mangum has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Rawse seems to have recovered his senses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rawse looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Mangum is stalling in the full guard.
Rawse wants to sweep here but Mangum controlling him for the moment.
Mangum's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jeff Mangum.
A slapping leg kick lands for Mangum.
Mangum swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mangum throws a head kick that Rawse semi-blocks.
Mangum throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Rawse throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rawse walks into a stiff left hand from Mangum.
Mangum misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rawse.
Mangum throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rawse shoots in but Mangum avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Crack! A monster head kick from Mangum and Rawse falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Mangum!
