The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Castle shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Castle was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
borges is in all sorts of trouble here.

Castle with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Castle knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for borges on the ground.

borges dives in and grabs Castle's left leg, looking for a takedown. Castle pushes down on borges's head and hops out.
No joy there for Castle, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

borges postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Castle is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of borges, into his guard.

Castle got a little sloppy there for a moment and borges has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Castle has managed to get both his arms back between borges's legs - danger averted.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Castle will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
