The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Almeida scores with a hook to the body. Souza takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Almeida cracks Souza with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

It looks like RaFa Souza has been cut.

Almeida takes the fight into the clinch.
Souza trying to control the position but instead, Almeida has worked for underhooks and has pushed Souza into the cage.
Still in the clinch, Almeida scores with a nice short uppercut.

Souza breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Almeida stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Almeida wants it to stay on the feet.

Souza tries to clinch up but Almeida pushes him back against the cage and lands another moster strike that crumples Souza to the mat! Souza covers up and Almeida unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
