The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valezquez displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from kilbot.
kilbot on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

It looks like arnold kilbot has been cut.
kilbot wants to clinch up but Valezquez keeps it at a distance.

Valezquez moves into the clinch.
Valezquez is trying to force a seperation but kilbot has the dominant position.
Valezquez gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from kilbot.
Valezquez has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Valezquez prevents a takedown attempt there.
CAIN Valezquez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of arnold kilbot.

Valezquez breaks from the clinch.
Valezquez scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. kilbot doesn't seem bothered though.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Valezquez throws an uppercut from hell that sends kilbot clean off his feet! He's out cold! Valezquez stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
