Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Acevedes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rusty Helber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Acevedes kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Move. Helber has chosen War is coming as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Helber throws a good cross that connects.

It looks like Marcus Acevedes has been cut.
Acevedes takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Helber shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Acevedes defends it nicely.
Helber will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Helber closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Acevedes to the mat! Acevedes manages to get full guard.
Acevedes is trying to keep Helber in close.
Helber forces his way into half guard.
Helber not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Acevedes blocking the ground and pound attempt from Helber.
Acevedes is trying to control but Helber manages to pass to mount!

Acevedes avoids a series of strikes thrown by Helber.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Helber fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Helber postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Acevedes looks a forlorn figure.
Oh Acevedes is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Helber thowing shots but they're missing.
Helber loads up with a big shot that hurts Acevedes! He's pulled Helber in close but Helber has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Acevedes survive? More strikes from Helber and Acevedes is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
