And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Chad Campbell and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson wants to clinch.
Johnson moves in looking to clinch but Emelianenko pushes him off.
Emelianenko works over Johnson's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Dave Johnson has been cut.
Emelianenko keeps the fight on the outside.
Emelianenko clinches up against the cage.
A short right from Johnson on the inside.
Johnson pushes off an throws an elbow but Emelianenko leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Emelianenko is pushing Johnson up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Johnson looking to stall.
Johnson wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Emelianenko has him pressed against the cage.
Emelianenko wants a takedown.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Johnson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Emelianenko throws a series of strikes that have Johnson backpedaling.
Emelianenko moves into the clinch successfully.
Emelianenko tries to break the clinch but Johnson is controlling the position.
Johnson is trying to break the clinch but Emelianenko has him pressed against the cage.
Johnson looks gassed!
Emelianenko stalling in the clinch.
Still in the clinch, Emelianenko scores with a nice short uppercut.
That has opened up Dave Johnson's cut even more.
Johnson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Johnson darts in trying to clinch
and Emelianenko counters by clinching up.
Emelianenko breaks the clinch.
Johnson seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Emelianenko shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Johnson is backing up but Emelianenko catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Johnson covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Emelianenko Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fedor Emelianenko!
