Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Murilo Ribeiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Klaus Hoffmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ribeiro's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Dream Theater - Forsaken. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Klaus Hoffmann was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Emerson Jorge and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoffmann pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Hoffmann misses with a two punch combination.
Ribeiro tries to clinch up but Hoffmann circles away and keeps his distance.
Hoffmann connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Ribeiro to the floor! Hoffmann dives in looking for the finish!
Ribeiro is rocked!
It looks like Murilo Ribeiro has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hoffmann wants to stand up but Ribeiro is controlling the position.
Oh Ribeiro is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ribeiro looking for submissions off his back.
Ribeiro seems to have got his legs back now.
Ribeiro wants to get back to full guard.
Ribeiro looking for subs from the bottom but Hoffmann mounts him!
Hoffmann is looking to stand but Hoffmann has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
Hoffmann tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Hoffmann is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Klaus Hoffmann is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hoffmann throws a solid leg kick but Ribeiro takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Hoffmann.
A head kick from Hoffmann lands but Ribeiro takes it in his stride.
Hoffmann gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Ribeiro passes Hoffmann's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Ribeiro wants to control but Hoffmann is keeping him busy.
Ribeiro will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Ribeiro is breathing heavily.
Ribeiro is pressing down on Hoffmann's thigh, looking to free his foot. Hoffmann is holding on for now.
Ribeiro is looking to take a break and control but Hoffmann is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Ribeiro is looking for a kimura but Hoffmann is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Ribeiro to get the leverage.
Ribeiro stops Hoffmann from getting back to his feet.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Ribeiro seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Hoffmann shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Ribeiro is backing up but Hoffmann catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Ribeiro covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Hoffmann Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Klaus Hoffmann!
