Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between mr brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arne Kaurismaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think brown might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to yes. Kaurismaa has chosen DJ Neon - Track 5 as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

brown shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Kaurismaa holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as brown tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Kaurismaa wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by brown.

brown goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Kaurismaa is on top in guard.
brown is striking but Kaurismaa is not phased and passes to half guard.

brown has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
brown is trying to keep Kaurismaa in close.
brown is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Kaurismaa remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
