Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hello World (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Verdi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Verdi showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from World.
World throws a right hand that Verdi ducks under and follows up with a left that Verdi also avoids with ease.
World lets loose with a powerful body kick. Verdi will feel that in the morning.
Verdi throws a series of strikes that have World backpedaling.
World misses with a two punch combination.
World is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Verdi.

World changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Verdi looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
World prevents Verdi from escaping the position.
World fails to land a wild elbow strike.
World scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Verdi to see if he's OK.

World bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Verdi's guard.

World can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Verdi is looking to escape.

World has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Verdi tries to reverse the position but World maintains control.

Hello World overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Verdi shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in World's guard.
