The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kurmotus wants to clinch up but Lavelle keeps it at a distance.
Kurmotus slaps away a takedown attempt from Lavelle, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Kurmotus turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Kurmotus swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kurmotus lands with a thumping leg kick.
Kurmotus swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Lavelle avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lavelle looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Kurmotus is looking to clinch.
Kurmotus throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lavelle.
Kurmotus waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Lavelle.
Lavelle checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
The crowd cheers as Kurmotus lands an impressive looking overhand right. Lavelle doesn't seem phased though.
A left lands for Kurmotus.

It looks like Chris Lavelle has been cut.

Lavelle throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Kurmotus.

Lavelle is rocked!
Kurmotus feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Lavelle crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
