Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cole Jaques (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kazushi Saakuuraabaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jaques comes to the cage accompanied by Ride The Lightning by Metallica. Saakuuraabaa has chosen Welcome To The Jungle as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saakuuraabaa pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jaques lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Saakuuraabaa circles away quickly and effectively.
No joy there for Jaques, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jaques looks to land a combination but Saakuuraabaa avoids it well.
Jaques's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Jaques duly obliges.

It looks like Kazushi Saakuuraabaa has been cut.
Saakuuraabaa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jaques throws a good cross that connects.
Jaques throws a right and a left that both miss.
Saakuuraabaa wants to clinch.
Jaques scores with a jab. Saakuuraabaa acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Kazushi Saakuuraabaa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jaques lands with a big left! Saakuuraabaa is wobbled badly! Jaques comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Saakuuraabaa to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
