Newton fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Hill lands a left and a right that send Newton crashing to the mat, dazed. Hill thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Newb Newton has been cut.
Newb Newton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Newton tries to clinch but Hill is having none of it.

Newton closes the distance and clinches.
Hill tries to break the clinch but Newton is controlling the position.

Hill escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Hill cracks Newton with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Hill has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Newton to stand back up!

Newton is rocked!
Hill lands with a big right hook that stumbles Newton - he's out on his feet here! Hill follows up with another monster hook that separates Newton from consciousness! Newton falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Hill stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
