The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
mcgee avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
McCreadie connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed mcgee momentarily.

It looks like thick legg mcgee has been cut.
mcgee shoots in looking for a takedown. McCreadie tries to sprawl out of it but mcgee keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McCreadie manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
McCreadie goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

McCreadie smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

McCreadie moves into range and clinches up with mcgee.

mcgee is trying desperately to land a takedown but McCreadie is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for mcgee.

McCreadie's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
McCreadie throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent mcgee stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
McCreadie uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

That has opened up thick legg mcgee's cut even more.
McCreadie lands a really nice looking cross but mcgee seems unphased.
McCreadie takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Dave McCreadie is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
McCreadie closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks mcgee out cold! mcgee corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
