Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Junior Tate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James has chosen Metallica - Some Kind of Monster as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Kenichi Hosakawa and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
James misses with a series of wild punches.
Kevin James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tate misses with a wild body shot.
Tate throws a sloppy head kick and James moves out of range easily.
James throws a hook to the side of Tate's head but Tate sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
James takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

It looks like Kevin James has been cut.
Tate tries to clinch but James is having none of it.
Tate throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
A looping hook to the body misses from Tate. James does a little dance to reset his feet.
James misses with an uppercut.
James avoids a kick to the body.
James throws a head kick that misses.
James throws a sloppy head kick and Tate moves out of range easily.
Tate fails with a takedown attempt.
Tate misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tate avoids a punch combination nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.
James cracks a nice hook into Tate's ribs.
Tate is breathing heavily.
Tate on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

It looks like Junior Tate has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tate takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
James paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Tate is rocked!
A head kick by James - that's a beauty! Tate is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even James can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
