The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macaxeira is looking to clinch but Hardy is avoiding it.
Macaxeira has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

It looks like Rai Macaxeira has been cut.
Macaxeira slips a jab and a cross from Hardy.
Hardy throws a combination. Macaxeira tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Macaxeira is rocked!
Macaxeira shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hardy defends it nicely.
Oh Macaxeira is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Hardy moves into the clinch successfully.
Macaxeira seems to have got his legs back now.
Hardy can't break the clinch.
Macaxeira goes for a takedown in the clinch but Hardy prevents it.
Hardy lands a hook that snaps the head of Macaxeira backwards.
Macaxeira keeps control of Hardy as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Hardy lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Macaxeira fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rai Macaxeira. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Hardy breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hardy throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Macaxeira colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Hardy as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Macaxeira is left battered and dazed whilst Hardy and his camp cheer!
