Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between hani ho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tranzfer Rodriguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodriguez has chosen Si Senor as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ho doesn't manage to clinch there - Rodriguez circles away.
Rodriguez shoots in but ho avoids the takedown attempt easily.

ho darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
ho seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Rodriguez looks like he's trying to stand up.

ho sitting and controlling from the half guard.
ho seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Rodriguez does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
ho working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Rodriguez's thigh. Rodriguez counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Rodriguez is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
ho has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
ho trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Rodriguez manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
ho is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Rodriguez dives into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
ho tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

Rodriguez is not going to allow ho to sit and survive in this position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
ho is really stuck here.
ho holding both Rodriguez 's hands and preventing any damage.

ho shoots for a double leg takedown but Rodriguez sprawls well. He's pushed ho's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
hani ho seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
