The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitzgibbon throws a series of punches but Soze avoids them all with ease.
Fitzgibbon throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Soze sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Fitzgibbon looks to land a combination but Soze avoids it well.
Horrible takedown by Fitzgibbon or perhaps it was just good defense by Soze which made him look bad.

enabling Fitzgibbon to counter with a crisp jab.

Soze fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fitzgibbon sprawls well initially but Soze persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Fitzgibbon is looking to escape.
Soze winds up and cracks Fitzgibbon with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Soze works his foot free and advances to mount.
You get the feeling that Fitzgibbon really doesn't like being in this position too much.
