Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Karl Belin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fred Boyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belin throws a low kick but Boyle avoids it.
Belin throws a chopping leg kick but Boyle manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Belin walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Boyle checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Boyle defending well as Belin loads up on a big left hand.
Belin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Boyle manages to avoid it.
Belin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Boyle was well out of range. Poor timing from Belin.
Boyle stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Boyle wants it to stay on the feet.
Belin looks to land a body kick but Boyle moved away.
Boyle checks a low kick from Belin.
Belin throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Belin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Boyle swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Boyle misses with a body shot.
Belin throws a front kick aimed at Boyle's knee but Boyle avoids it well.
Belin looks to throw the jab but Boyle is out of range.
Belin misses with a low kick.

Boyle on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Boyle changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Belin looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Boyle goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Belin rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Boyle's guard! Nice work there by Belin!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Boyle looking for a guillotine here but Belin defends easily.

Belin thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Boyle has his foot on Belin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Belin works his way back into a safe position though.
Belin throws a big right hand that misses.
Boyle thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Boyle is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Belin defends well.

Belin drops back looking for a leg! Boyle is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Boyle manages to kick Belin off! Belin jumps back into Boyle's guard.
Belin postures up in Boyle's guard and throws a big left but Boyle blocks it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Boyle shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Belin napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Belin wants to control from the top but Boyle keeps moving.

Belin is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Boyle doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Belin.

Belin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Boyle keeps working.

Belin is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Boyle defends it well.

Boyle is refusing to be controlled, as Belin sits in half guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
A big left from Belin misses.
Belin connects with a body shot.
Boyle moves out of range of the body kick from Belin.
Belin throws an overhand right that lands on Boyle's shoulder, as Boyle tries to avoid the shot.
A jab from Boyle misses.
Boyle moves out of range as Belin strikes.

Belin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Belin bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Belin throws a body punch but Boyle moves out of range.
Boyle misses the shot to the body.
Boyle takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Boyle fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Belin sprawls well initially but Boyle persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boyle seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Belin does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Belin is trying to maintain the position but Boyle is very close to passing his half guard.
Boyle works his way into side control.
Belin regains half guard there - taking advantage of Boyle's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

Belin moves into full guard.
Belin looking for a sweep. Not yet Belin, not yet.
Boyle looking to sit in guard and control but Belin gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Belin works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Boyle is controlling Belin's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Boyle wants to control but Belin is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Belin is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Boyle has managed to free his arm - good work.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Belin connects with a nice short shot to Boyle's temple.
Belin thows a huge punch but Boyle dodges it nicely.
Boyle is looking to control Belin's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Boyle avoid being mounted?
Boyle is looking for a sweep. Belin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Belin wants to control but Boyle is keeping him busy.
Belin seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Belin scores with the left hand. Boyle knows he should have avoided that one.
A telegraphed right hand from Belin misses the target.
Belin throws a hook but Boyle avoids it easily.
Belin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Boyle.
Belin throws a looping overhand right but Boyle ducks down to avoid it.
Belin is looking to land body kicks.
Belin throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Boyle missing with a left hand there. Belin was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Boyle takes one to the side of the head.
