Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Blade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Pieru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blade comes into the arena with For Whom the Bell Tolls blaring out of the sound system. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blade moves in looking to clinch but Pieru pushes him off.
Blade throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Pieru fails to land the takedown.
Pieru tries to clinch up.

Pieru shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Pieru was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Blade is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Blade wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Pieru.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pieru misses with a head shot. Blade uses the momentum to regain guard.

Pieru fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Blade comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Blade tries a head kick but it misses.
Blade defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pieru.
Blade does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Pieru avoids a punch combination nicely.

Blade moves into the clinch.
Blade throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Pieru blocks it with crossed arms.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Blade takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Blade is looking to control Pieru's arms but Pieru gets an underhook and turns him. Now Blade has his back to the cage.
Pieru changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Blade fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Pieru is desperately trying to improve his position but Blade has a good base and remains in mount.

Blade wants to take a breather but Pieru is having none of it.
Blade is just content to waste time from the top position. Pieru takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

George Pieru is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
