The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Denton closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Denton lands in his opponent's guard.
Denton tries to free his leg and advance position but bull is retaining full guard.

Denton is thwarting bull's attempts to control the position.
bull is in trouble now - Denton has advanced to mount!

Denton moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, bull has worked his arm free - good work by bull!

Denton tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
bull tries to buck Denton off but Denton is having none of it.
Denton has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Denton is working for a guillotine from mount but bull frees his head quite easily.
bull is squirming around, avoiding Denton's attempts to control the action.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Denton is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. bull can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
