Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Abraham Lincoln (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stevie Midgar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lincoln comes to the cage accompanied by Hail To The Chief. Midgar comes into a darkened arena with his song building. I am a Real American - Rick Derringer kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lincoln throws a body punch but Midgar moves out of range.
Stevie Midgar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lincoln swings for the body but Midgar moves out of range.
Lincoln dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Lincoln avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lincoln fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Lincoln catches Midgar with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Midgar doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Midgar tries to clinch up but Lincoln circles away and keeps his distance.
Lincoln is looking to wear down Midgar with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Lincoln scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Midgar is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Lincoln.

Midgar takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Midgar is rocked!
Lincoln is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Midgar flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Midgar is out cold! Lincoln holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
