Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shiva Stinkie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rollo Smek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shiva Stinkie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rollo Smek!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smek instigates a clinch.
Stinkie looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Stinkie throws a punch but it's blocked by Smek.

Smek gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Stinkie regains guard.
Smek is stalling in the full guard.
Smek must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Stinkie is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Smek is controlling him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Smek is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Stinkie wants to stand and escape but Smek is having none of it.
Smek is stalling in the full guard.
Stinkie is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Smek dives into side control.
Smek moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
I looks like Smek might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Smek's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Stinkie wants to get back to his feet but Smek drags him back down.

Smek stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Smek misses with the combination.
Smek takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Horrible takedown by Smek or perhaps it was just good defense by Stinkie which made him look bad.

Stinkie throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Smek counters with a nice low kick that buckles Stinkie's knee momentarily.
Smek showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Stinkie.

Smek moves into the clinch.

Smek jumps into guard, dragging Stinkie to the mat.
Stinkie wants to stand but Smek is controlling his posture from full guard.
Smek is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Smek tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Smek has a closed guard, preventing Stinkie from standing up.
Smek seems keen to control Stinkie's posture.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
No joy there for Smek, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Smek misses with a body kick.
Stinkie steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Smek. That one must have hurt.
Smek buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Stinkie misses with a few strikes there.
A punch combination from Stinkie misses.

Smek shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Stinkie's guard.
Smek stops Stinkie from standing up.
Stinkie can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Smek controls the pace.
Stinkie wants to stand up but Smek is controlling him.
Smek slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Smek tries to free his leg and advance position but Stinkie is retaining full guard.

Stinkie pushes Smek off and gets back to his feet.
Smek tries to clinch up but Stinkie circles away and keeps his distance.

Stinkie misses with a few strikes there.
Stinkie moves away from the strike by Smek.
Stinkie lands a nice leg kick that just misses Smek's sensitive parts.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Stinkie!
Smek thows a body shot but no joy.
Stinkie is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Smek moves out of range of the body kick.
Shiva Stinkie is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A right-left combo lands from Smek.
The fight stays on the outside here - Stinkie looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Shiva Stinkie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Smek has taken the fight to the clinch.
A right hand to the body from Smek.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Smek.
Smek lands a body punch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Smek has hold of one of Stinkie's legs. Stinkie is fighting the takedown attempt but Smek gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Stinkie wants to stand and escape but Smek is having none of it.
Smek stays in close to Stinkie's body and controls the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rollo Smek dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Excellent takedown into side control there by Smek.

Smek stands up.

Smek rushes Stinkie and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Smek pulls guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Smek holds on and takes a little breather.
Let's hope that Smek has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Smek is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Stinkie is looking to escape.
Still in half guard, Smek seems content to control.
Stinkie tries to kick Smek off but Smek keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Smek stalling.
Stinkie is trying to stand.
Smek sitting and controlling from the half guard.

Smek is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Stinkie wants to get back to his feet.

Smek stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Stinkie to get to his feet.
Stinkie throws a leg kick but Smek sees it coming and moves out of range.
Stinkie misses with a wild combination.
Stinkie tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Smek counters with a thumping low kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Smek fails with the takedown.
Stinkie lands with a nice combination. Smek backs away looking to recover.
Smek throws a leg kick which misses Stinkie's front leg but catches the back leg as Stinkie tries to avoid it.
Smek swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Smek connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Stinkie takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Smek escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Smek fakes the leg kick and cracks Stinkie in the body.

Smek fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Stinkie sprawls well initially but Smek persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Smek with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

Smek stands up and beckons Stinkie to join him on the feet.
Smek looks to land a combination but Stinkie avoids it well.
Stinkie swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A left lands for Stinkie.

Smek looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Stinkie!

Smek looking to control and managing it successfully.
Smek won't let Stinkie get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Smek jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Stinkie manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Stinkie is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Smek is controlling him well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Smek stands up.
Smek feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Stinkie's calf.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
An inside leg kick lands from Smek.
Rollo Smek seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Stinkie throws a right and a left that both miss.
A combination from Stinkie does no damage.
Smek lands a body shot.
Smek lands a nice leg kick that just misses Stinkie's sensitive parts.
Stinkie misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rollo Smek showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!



Smek drives through and clinches with Stinkie against the cage.

Smek breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
No joy there for Smek, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Smek looks to land a combination. Stinkie sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.


It looks like Shiva Stinkie has been cut.
Smek throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Smek scores a takedown into full mount!
Stinkie's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Smek postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Stinkie looks a forlorn figure.
Stinkie is trying to stand up.

Smek stands up from mount. Strange move.

Smek shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stinkie wants to try and get back to his feet.

Smek stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Smek looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Stinkie!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Stinkie tries to buck Smek off but Smek takes his back!
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Smek's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Stinkie is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

Smek is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Smek gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Smek gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Smek apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Smek closes the distance and clinches up with Stinkie, looking for a takedown. Smek pushes Stinkie against the cage but Stinkie circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Smek takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

and Smek counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Smek.

Stinkie wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Smek has him pressed against the cage.
Stinkie tries a body shot but Smek blocks it.

Smek has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Stinkie clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee is taking a good look at Stinkie as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Smek!
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Stinkie is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Smek gets his way!

Stinkie is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Smek is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Rollo Smek comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Smek has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
